PICKDU / GUIDE
How voting works
PICKDU is a community voting service where two opinions compete on a live gauge. Explore everyday choices and global issues, create a topic, and see how participants feel.
Can I vote without an account?
Yes, on administrator-selected main banner polls. Other polls require a signed-in account and any necessary group membership or invitation.
How is my ordinary vote counted?
The first five clicks share one allocation across both choices. The side with more allocated clicks receives your one vote; equal allocations such as 1:1 or 2:2 are neutral. Clicking never gives you multiple ordinary votes.
Can I change my vote?
Yes, until the deadline. After completing an allocation, clicking the opposite choice starts a new allocation and moves your existing vote according to the current balance. Closed polls keep their final results.
What is passion support?
At 25 total clicks, the majority side receives one separate passion vote. Afterwards, 25 clicks on the opposite side transfer that same passion vote. It never adds to the ordinary vote total.
How do credits and groups work?
Members receive 5 credits daily at midnight in Korea (UTC+9), without rollover. A poll lasting up to 24 hours costs 1 credit; longer polls cost 5. Administrators are exempt. Creating a group and joining one with an invite code are separate actions.
Are the results representative?
No. Results describe voluntary participants, not a randomly selected population. Guest voting uses a browser-based identity and cannot guarantee one unique person across devices or browsers.
